Suffield, CT (December 31, 2016) — As we leave 2016 behind us, Heather Conley Photography is privileged to have been able to help important community charities in Connecticut over the course of the past year.
For the Emergency Aid Association (EAA) of Suffield, Heather Conley assisted in securing a $1,000 grant for the EAA’s Backpack Program. This important initiative is responsible for distributing backpacks to youth in low-income homes, stocked with supplies such as pencils, rulers, calculators, notebooks and binders.
“Kids need tools to succeed at school,” said Heather Conley. “The Staples Foundation stepped up to the plate and delivered these needed funds, and I was thrilled to connect the two groups.” HCP donated items to help fill the backpacks as well.
In addition to the EAA, Heather Conley Photography also made contributions to the region’s food bank — Foodshare — for its Thanksgiving turkey collection; the CT Alliance for Victims of Violence and their Families, CT Alive; and Toys for Tots.
